The Trend LONROUTER/DIN/FTT/FTT/24 router products allow the connection of two communication channels, and the routing of LonTalk messages between them.They improve system reliablity by physically isolating one channel from another, and by strategic positioning, can reduce the network traffic in selected channels. They are DIN mounting and can self-install to allow Trend Lon devices to operate across the channels. The router?s mode of operation can be set to configured router, learning router, repeater, or bridge.
